Our organic Sicilian avocados are mostly Hass, the smallest of the varieties but undoubtedly the tastiest. The skin is rough and thin, with flesh ranging in color from green to pale yellow. They are an excellent source of antioxidants such as vitamin E.

SICILIAN PRICKLY PEAR

The “Agostano” prickly pear, the one harvested in Sicily starting in August, is ready! The “Agostano” prickly pears are the first fruits to bloom: they can be “Surfarina” or yellow or “Sanguigna” or red. Either way, they are flavorful, plump, and sweet. The prickly pear is rich in seeds, vitamins, and antioxidants. Once cleaned of thorns, it will arrive on your table ready to be peeled and enjoyed fresh, or to flavor a salad or even to make a risotto.
